Sooji Halwa or Semolina Pudding is a well-liked recipe in South Asian countries made using semolina as the main ingredient in clarified butter and a lot of crushed dry fruits. Halwa Puri is famous street food in Pakistan and North India.

  1. 3 Tbsp Clarified Butter (Ghee)
  2. 1 Cup Semolina (Sooji)
  3. ½ Cup Sugar (Chini)
  4. ¼ Cup Almond & Cashew (Badam Aur Kaju)
  5. 2 Tbsp Raisins (Manuka)
  6. Pistachio & Almond For Garnishing (Pista Aur Badam)
  7. Water

Let Us Have A Look At The Quick Recipe Of Sooji Halwa:

  1. Take a shallow bottom vessel; add three tbsp of clarified butter, let it melt properly and get semi-hot.
  2. Add one cup of semolina; roast the semolina for 5 to 6 minutes until it turns golden brown.
  3. Add three cups of water and mix well; stir continuously so that no lumps should form.
  4. Add the half cup of sugar; mix well by stirring it continuously.
  5. Add ¼ cup of roughly chopped almonds and cashew nuts, two tbsp of raisins. Keep stirring continuously for some time.
  6. Once the halwa gets semi-solid consistency; it is ready to serve hot.
