Corn Chaat is healthy, quick, easy, tasty recipe to serve anybody, anytime. One can make Corn Chaat any time, by using frozen corn. You can also make Chaat Corn by using freshly peeled corn kernel.

Healthy Corn Chaat is a good ‘After School’ snack for kids. Corn Chaat tastes delectable when served steamy hot in winter. Today we will see the recipe for Corn Chaat.

Popcorn has become pass time food for children and elders are also in love with it. Roasted Corn Kernel coated with lime juice and spices also called as ‘Bhutta’ is one of the favorite street snacks during Monsoon and Summer Days in India.

Corn is reached in antioxidants and dietary fiber. Corn is also a good energy source for us as it contains slowly digestive carbohydrates.

Corn or Maize is a very ancient food adopted by human since ten-thousand years. We found corn’s origin somewhere in South Mexico. Corn is the staple food in North, South and Central America. Corn has become the popular food in India and many South Asian countries.

Ingredients
Let Us Make A List of Ingredients For Corn Chaat Recipe:
  • 1 cup Corns (Makka)
  • 1 tbsp Butter
  • 1/4 tsp Red Chili Powder (Lal Mirch Powder)
  • 1/4 tsp Cumin Powder (Jeera Powder)
  • 1/4 tsp Chaat Masala
  • 1 tsp Lemon Juice (Nimbu Ras)
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 Cups Water
Instructions
  1. Take a skillet pan, add 2 cups of water & let it boil. Add 1 cup of corns and once the corn gets boiled soft, take out corns from the water and keep it aside.

  2. Take another skillet pan, add 1 tablespoon of butter and let it melt and get hot.

  3. Add boiled corn to butter, sauté for 2 to 3 minutes. 

  4. Take out the sautéed corn in a bowl. Add 1/4 teaspoon of red chili powder, 1/4 teaspoon of cumin powder, 1/4 teaspoon of chat masala, salt to taste, 1 tablespoon of lemon juice. Mix well.

  5. Tasty, tangy Corn Chaat is ready to serve hot, enjoy with friends & loved ones.
